To create quick replies, open the "Quick replies" section, in the settings of your Callbell account:
From here you can proceed to the creation of your first quick reply by clicking on "Create Quick Reply".
Formats
Callbell supports 4 types of quick replies:
- Default reply
- Interactive reply
- Reply buttons
- Call to action reply
Default reply
This is the most used quick reply which supports the following types:
- Text
- Image
- Video
- Audio
- Document
In order to attach a media, simple enable this option > select the media you want > attach it to Callbell:
Interactive reply
Supported channels: Official WhatsApp API integration.
This type of message allows you to send a list of options to your client to click on the option they prefer.
Reply buttons
Supported channels: Official WhatsApp API, and Telegram.
You can add up to 3 clickable buttons to share with your customers. Also, you can attach an image, video, or document.
Call to Action reply
Supported channels: Official WhatsApp Callbell Cloud API integration.
Call to actions are buttons with external links which you can share to your customers, so they have a nice view of the link before opening it on their device:
Variables
In the text, you will be able to add variables that will help you to respond more personally to your contacts.
For example, you can enter the variable name (name) and choose to pre-populate the message with the name of the contact or, if the name is not available, with the alternative to use.
Ex: Hello {name or "dear"}, how can we help you?
NB: variables must always be inserted inside curly braces.
Once the first quick reply is saved, you can start using it by typing "/" in the chat bar:
When entering a "/", all available quick replies will appear. Once the quick reply to be used has been chosen, the text box will be pre-filled automatically.
