The Pin chat feature allows you to keep your most important conversations at the top of your inbox, regardless of recent activity. This is useful for ongoing cases you need quick access to, or conversations that require close follow-up.
How to pin a chat
- Hover over the chat card in your inbox.
- Click the arrow icon that appears on the card.
- Select Pin chat from the menu.
The chat will immediately move to the top of your list and stay there, even if no new messages have been exchanged recently.
Important considerations
- Filter-dependent visibility — pinned chats are only visible when the active filters include them. For example, if you filter by a team the pinned chat is not assigned to, it will not appear until you adjust or clear the filters.
- Maximum of 3 pinned chats — you can pin up to 3 chats at a time.
- Automatic unpinning — if a pinned chat is closed, Callbell unpins it automatically, freeing up that slot for another chat.
How to unpin a chat
To unpin a chat, click the arrow icon on the chat card and select Unpin chat.
