Note: This categorization will be deprecated as of June 2023 and Meta will change its model to a "conversation type" system.
Starting February 2023, Meta will complete the transition to a pricing model for WhatsApp Business APIs based on the number of conversations.
By "conversation" we mean a 24-hour window that begins from the moment the first message is exchanged between the company and the customer and, based on who initiates the chat, is defined as UIC (conversation initiated by the user ) or BIC (business initiated conversation). In the second case, the chat will have to be initiated through a pre-approved message template.
Meta applies a different cost if the conversation is initiated by the user or by the business (higher in the second case). For more information, visit these links to find out more about Meta's pricing for using the WhatsApp Business API.
Callbell, as an ISV (Independent Software Provider), has always tried to maintain a simple pricing model without variables for its customers, without the need for the end customer to have to investigate Meta's complex pricing structure regarding the use of the WhatsApp Business APIs.
For this reason, if your company manages a volume of less than 2000 monthly conversations on WhatsApp (3000 in the case of 10-20 agents, 4000 in the case of 20-30 agents), the cost for using the APIs of WhatsApp Business is covered under the WhatsApp Business API integration portion of the plan.
In the event that your company consumes a budget greater than the fee paid to Callbell for the WhatsApp Business API integration, the excess difference will be invoiced at the beginning of the month for your consumption, based on the pricing model established by Meta and available at the links shared above.
