With this feature, you have the ability to dynamically segment contacts in your Callbell account. You can later use these segments for sending broadcast campaigns on WhatsApp or for any exports.
The interesting thing about segments is that they are constantly updated based on the information present on the contact. For example, if you have created a segment with the "customer" tag filter, every time a conversation is tagged with the "customer" tag, the contact will be added to the segment. Conversely, if the tag is removed, the contact will be removed from the segment.
How to create a new segment
1. Access the Segments Section of the Contacts module. This section is only accessible to accounts with admin access.
2. Click on the "Create Segment" button. This will redirect you to the contacts section where you can start the process of creating your segment.
3. Use Filters: In the contacts section, you will have the option to use various filters to define your segment. Choose the criteria that best suit your needs (for example, Channel, tags, contact creation date, etc.). Once done, click on "Create a segment" to save.
How to modify or delete a segment
If you want to modify or delete a segment, select the action button (usually symbolized by three dots) from the segments section and click on "Edit" or "Delete."
How to use segments in the broadcast module for WhatsApp campaigns
You can use contact segments to send broadcast messages. When creating the campaign, select the segment (instead of uploading the database with CSV), and choose the template you want to send. In the case that the WhatsApp template contains variables, you can select them before sending.
