When using Callbell Broadcast module, a fee of $0.02 (€0.018) is applied for each successfully reached contact through campaigns sent through the platform.
To this fee, you should add the cost that WhatsApp generates for each conversation initiated by the company (typically for bulk sends the category that is approved with WhatsApp is Marketing), and is calculated based on the prefix of the customer's final phone number. This cost will be invoiced if your monthly budget for using your API account is exceeded, as explained below.

How is the cost of a broadcast calculated?
All Callbell plans that integrate WhatsApp Business API, include a credit (usually €50 per month for every 10 active agents on the platform) intended to cover the cost of WhatsApp conversations generated on the platform (whether used for 1to1 chat or for broadcast lists).
If this credit is exceeded, Callbell will proceed to invoice the consumed excess at the end of the month (in addition to the $0.02 fee for each message delivered through campaigns sent with the broadcast module).
If, on the other hand, the cost of the managed conversations does not exceed the budget of WhatsApp for your account, at the end of the month only the cost of the broadcast module will be invoiced ($0.02 for each delivered message).
Let's try to explain with an example:
A Callbell account of 5 agents has a credit of €50/month ($54) dedicated to the WhatsApp API variable.
Example 1
The account in the example consumed $27 for the chat module and sent a broadcast of 390 messages to Italian numbers for a total cost of another $27 in WhatsApp variable, generating a total cost for the WhatsApp API of $54.
In this case, the customer, not having exceeded the monthly credit dedicated to the WhatsApp API conversations ($54), will be billed exclusively on the broadcast fees: 390*$0.02 = $7.8
Example 2
The account in the example consumed $27 for the chat module and sent a broadcast of 1000 messages to Italian numbers for a total cost of another $69.1 in WhatsApp variable, generating a total cost for the WhatsApp API of $96.1.
In this case, the customer, having exceeded the monthly credit dedicated to the WhatsApp API conversations, will be billed on the exceeding variable: $96.1 - 54 = $42.1 and on the broadcast fees: 1000*$0.02 = $20. Total billed at the end of the month $42.1+20 = $62.1
How is the billing of broadcasts carried out?
The use of the broadcast module will, as a rule, be invoiced at the end of each month based on the quantity of contacts successfully reached through the campaign or campaigns sent during a month*.
To use the module for bulk sending, it's necessary to register at least one credit card as a payment method on Callbell and the invoice related to the use of the broadcast module, will be available at the end of the month, at the billing section of your account.
*In case of a significant send (over 10,000 contacts) the bulk send can be, at the customer's request, billed immediately after the campaign has concluded in the payment method used for the Callbell subscription.
